Orevwa, Emily. We miss you already!!!
I love this series of pictures of Janise!!!! It is soo much who she is, can be shy and sweet, but is crazy and ornery, and finds delight in the smallest things…
The girls all ready and waiting for Trish’s wedding. They felt so special and beautiful all dressed up including new shoes, which they LOVED!
Dieuvenise and Janise the flower girls, getting the giggles in the middle of their nervousness.
These are the girls that we have at the Children's’ Home right now. It is so good to have them there to keep things a little more lively. We have been so busy with other things since the earthquake that the girls have been a little overlooked. We can tell it on them, they seem to get more grumpy, and just be a little more on the naughty side. So we have been trying to make extra effort to spend time with them, and make sure they feel loved and noticed.
One night we made bracelets. they had a lot of fun with that and so did I :). I get so excited when I see the difference in their lives, since I first met them. God is wonderful! He cares and loves these young ladies soo much, I pray that they will continue to listen to the knock on their own hearts, and that God will always be first in their lives. I ask that you pray with us…
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
Leve kanpe! Ou pral klere tankou soley. Pouvwa Senye a pral klere sou ou.

Thinking that we should do something at least a little special for the “stateside holiday” July 4th, we decided to head to Jacmel Beach and Basin Ble for the day, on Sat. The staff from the compound joined us, and we were excited to have them with us!
Because of different vehicle issues, we ended up taking the Montero, and large yellow pump truck. Most of us jumped on the back, selected a place to sit and hung on. Was a great way to make memories!
Crossing the river on the way to Basin Ble Paul and Frieda were great! Frieda did an awesome job at hiking back there, she even climbed down this rock!
These dear children were so much fun to take pictures of… very photogenic! enjoy the results of the photo shoot… Makes me wonder really what their lives are like…
These last two are my favorite!!
