The Long Journey to the Land of Creve

Once upon a time 4 girls and 1 super speedy driver decided to make the long journey to the land of Creve. They stopped in the town of LaSource for the night. The people there were very kind and gave them food to eat and a place to sleep for the night. After an inspiring church service and a Mennonite lunch they continued their journey to the land of Creve.

They ran into a few obstacles along the way, but took heart, and arrived safely in the land of Creve. The 4 girls were very happy to be there. After a meal of spaghetti and bread, most of the girls showered and all of the girls flopped into bed and slept soundly. The one night they were rudely awakened by 2 snarling dogs. It wouldn't have been so scary but they had the door open to the outside and so nothing was separating them from the snarling dogs. But the girls decided to be brave and soon the dogs went somewhere else to continue their fight. The girls couldn't sleep after all that excitement and decided that they had had too much sleep during the daytime hours.

One night, one girl attempted to take a shower. Much to her dismay, the water would not come. She wished and she wished, but the water still didn't come. It was a smelly night in the land of Creve.

(at mealtimes this is where you would find us hanging out)

Overall the girls had a happy and successful time in Creve- buying crochet, sleeping, reading, watching a soccer game, taking pictures, seeing a rainbow, admiring the beautiful moon and stars, enjoying the cooler evenings and the good times at the table where they ate their meals at.

The last evening of their stay in the land of Creve, 8 little Haitian girls joined the 4 travelers. It took quite some time for the 8 little girls to drift off into dreamland, but finally they did. It seemed like everyone had just closed their eyes and suddenly it was 3:00 and time to make the long journey back to the land of Leogane.

The sad part about that morning was they had to wait nearly an hour and a half for their super speedy driver. Apparently, he's only super speedy when he drives and not when he walks. While they waited, they talked about how much they would like to have iced coffee from Sheetz. Finally the super speedy driver came and they zoomed down the long, bumpy hill.
The 4 girls realized once how again how depressing it is to attempt to sleep while driving down a bumpy road. The details of the trip back to the land of Leogane would bore you to tears, so I will spare you the details. Suffice it to say...the trip was long, dusty, hot, and bumpy and the Haitian girls were continuously throwing up. The trip lasted approximately 11 hours.
The land of Leogane had never looked so welcoming.
