supper @ the neighbors

A few weeks ago we were invited over to the neighbors for supper. Since we both live in the same yard, it was quite convenient. :)

We were greeted by candles on the porch…

and more candles inside-as well as lights, music, flowers, and food… IMG_2191 IMG_2192 IMG_2193 IMG_2195

The meal was followed by sitting in the living room-talking and playing scattergories. It was a fun way to spend a Friday evening in Haiti. Thanks Trish & Doudou!!!

The last few days have been quieter…no protestors marching past the yard. Rumor has it they will possibly be making an announcement tomorrow about the recounting of the votes. Time will tell what happens next. Marion & Tena and Mike have plans to return on the 20th. Pray that the airport stays open so they can come. The girls were off school last Wednesday-Friday due to all the unrest in the country. Were also off on Monday due to rain. They were pretty happy about finally being able to go to school again today!!!
